Isiliel is Japanese Idol Himari Tsukishiro’s solo metal project.

​

Performing genres ranging from folk-infused post black metal to city pop, Isiliel meshes traditional Japanese instruments and performance with an international songwriting and production team to create a blisteringly powerful and beautiful audio visual assault.

In just three years from the project's start Isiliel has performed at Anime Expo in Los Angeles, Hyper Japan in London, NärCon Sommar in Sweden, Siam J Fest in Bangkok along with many other events as part of numerous successful international tours.

Isiliel's first album "Moonbow Genesis" was produced by the legendary Fredrik Nordström in Gothenburg, Sweden and is currently available on all streaming platforms. Her second full album was recorded in Bergen, Norway and will release in the summer of 2025.

Outside of her activities as an idol and solo performer Himari is also an active anime fan and cosplayer and was an honorary judge at the cosplay performance at NarCon.

アルバムは「Black Moon」という曲で素晴らしいスタートを切ります。パワーメタルのスタイルとHimariの美しい歌声が、滑らかでクリーンなサウンドを保ちながらも、楽曲に多様性を与えています！

次の曲では、Sanguine Covenantはさらにスピード感と迫力のあるブラックメタルスタイルに挑戦！激しいドラムビートとHimariの滑らかでクリーンなボーカルが重なり、力強くスラッシュリフを刻むなど、一つ一つの動きが際立つ圧倒的な存在感を放ちます！

Vesperal Salvation では、美しくゆっくりとした暗い雰囲気の始まりがあり、ひまりさんが美しく低い音域で、きれいで柔らかい音色を使っています。この美しい叙事詩/フォークソングは、優美な北欧風で、短くて美しい日本語のナレーションを聞くことができます。

「Umbral Exorcism」は、クールなヘヴィ/スピードメタルのヴァイブで幕を開けます！疾走感あふれるリフと、激しく高揚するエネルギーが満載！激しく対照的なリフとひまりの天使のようなボーカルが、幻想的な音楽的感覚を与えています。

ムーンボウ・レギオンの曲の後半では、よりパワフルでハードなコードを使った、よりヘビーなスタイルになっています。ひまりは柔らかく白い声で素晴らしいオープニングを飾り、声域を上げると、濃密なコードとうまくミックスされて聞こえます。

そして最後に、「Rebellion」という曲では、合唱ボーカル、荒々しくメタリックなミッドテンポのリフ、より速くリズミカルな中間部など、他の曲とは異なり、長く続く壮大なエンディングを迎えます。

ひまりさんのニューアルバム「Moonbow Rebellion」は、美しく多様な音楽スタイルを持っています。アルバムカバーから、様々なリズム、トーン、テンポで、非常に流動的でメロディアスなブラック/パワー/フォークメタルスタイルが伝わってきます。アルバムの力強さは、最も注目すべきギターラインにあります。そして、柔らかくクリーンで低音域の美しい歌声が魅了します。それはアルバム全体を通して維持されています！各曲の存在感と注目度を維持しながら、ダークで神秘的、オカルト的な雰囲気も非常にうまく処理されています。

My Recommendation

The album starts off phenomenally with the song Black Moon! With that power metal style and Himari's beautiful voice, which gives the song versatility while maintaining a smooth and clean sound!

In the next song, Sanguine Covenant takes on an even faster, more powerful, black metal style! With a barrage of drum beats and Himari's smooth, clean vocals on top, each movement stands out phenomenally, with some strong, thrashing riffs!

In Vesperal Salvation we have a beautiful slow and dark atmospheric beginning, where Himari san uses a beautiful lower register, clean and soft, a beautiful epic/folk song with that ethereal Nordic style we can hear a short exquisite Japanese narration!

Umbral Exorcism opens with a cool heavy/speed metal vibe! Filled with galloping, soaring riffs and that furious, high energy! The harsh, contrasting riffs with Himari's angelic vocals give it an ethereal musical feel!

Later in the Moonbow Legion song we have a heavier style, with more powerful and hard chords, Himari opens very well with her soft and white voice in a brilliant way, when she raises the register of her voice it is heard well mixed with the dense chords.

And finally, in the song Rebellion, we have a long-lasting epic ending unlike the other songs, with choral vocals, harsh, metallic mid-tempo riffs, and a faster, more rhythmic middle section.

Himari san’s new album Moonbow Rebellion has a beautiful and varied musical style, from the album cover we have a very fluid and melodic Black/Power/Folk metal style in various rhythms, tones and tempos, the power of the album is the guitar line which is the most notable part, then the beautiful voice with a soft, clean and low register that captivates, it is maintained throughout the album in fact! Maintaining the presence and main attention in each song, it also has a dark, mystical and occult atmosphere very well handled!
